Conveyancing Process in Dubai
- Agreement of Sale
- The buyer and seller agree on terms and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), typically using Form F, a standard contract provided by the DLD. A deposit (usually 10%) is paid by the buyer and held by the broker or trustee until completion.
- Apply for a No Objection Certificate (NOC)

- Final Transfer at Dubai Land Department
- Once the NOC is issued, all parties (buyer, seller, agents) meet at a DLD Trustee Office.
The buyer pays
- Purchase price (bank manager's cheque)
- 4% DLD transfer fee
- AED 540 admin fee
- Any mortgage registration fee (if applicable)
- The buyer receives the new Title Deed in their name.
- Documents Typically Required For Buyer:
- Passport & visa copy
- Emirates ID (if resident)
- No Objection Letter from mortgage bank (if applicable)
- Purchase price (bank manager's cheque)
